Reading about George's Vermont plans and the Lincoln Inn, well, what would a trip to VT be without at least one stop at the Lincoln Inn? No kidding, I am there at least once on each visit, and usually more often than that. Aside from all the memories, it's good food too. Another favorite place for a bite to eat is this wonderful coffee shop/deli up near the Essex Retail Outlet/Movie Theatre area...I think the name of the place is something like the 1790 House? It's in an old house (obviously!) and they make wonderful coffee drinks, smoothies, etc. plus delicious healthy sandwiches. I'm hooked. Can't be in Vermont without those two places to eat.
Hope you guys do get together when George is in town. Have fun!

Lincoln Inn......I believe just about every guy in Essex back in the 70's worked there. I lasted 1 night. The boss-man was a real hard-ass. Down right nasty and mean. He had an old lady who peeled potatoes out-back in this tiny little room. Sitting there all day peeling potatoes. I can't remember the guys name, Tim or DP would know, they lasted more then one night.

Jon nealy and i both worked in the kitchen. We had to always: "go to da cooler and git some lettuce!" One time jon shut his hand in the huge cooler door. I do believe the ring that mimi gave him kept the door from severing his finger. I remember running up the street as jon's finger turned 3 shades of purple; finally jon's dad was able to cut the ring off with a hacksaw. oouch that must have hurt!
