I bring my kids in from Cambridge to trick or treat. I go with them around Cascadnac, Wenonah, Hiawatha and West Street. We see other people we grew up with along with their kids. We also see quite a few of our old neighbors; and of course we stay awhile at the Grandparents. It seems like most of the kids out are with an adult. We use to go all the way down West Street and up South Street back towards Hiawatha and I don't remember parents coming along in those days.

Patti, That sounds nice! Did you marry into the Rooney family? I was in Shawn's grade, what a wonderful girl. I know that her husband died a while back and that must've been very difficult. How is she doing these days?
Yes, when we grew up in Essex Jct. (Iroquois Ave. til I was 12), my sister and girlfriends and I went all over the place without any grown-ups along for Halloween. One year we found some sort of special pumpkin that was a promotion for WDOT Radio. When we redeemed it, we got a whole case of Coke!
