I am married to Dan. He is the oldest in the family-one year older than Shawn. Shawn's husband Kevin Willis died just over a year ago of stomach cancer and it was a very difficult time. Shawn is doing very well with two kids Matthew, a sophomore or junior in highschool and Lindsey in eigth grade. They live in Underhill and she teaches 7/8 grade Math and Science in Essex Town. I grew up just around the corner from the Rooney family - on West Street. My brother Stephen would have been in your class.

Yes, Patti, I remember Steve Moreau well! I wrote to Shawn when I read about her husband's death last year. I'm glad she and the kids are doing well; it's not easy, though. Shawn and I always sat next to each other in alphabetical classes, and we thought it was cool that we even had the same middle initial! (Shawn Maureen Rooney/Sabrina Mary Rood!) Does she still love horses?
