Hi Everyone,
Would like your input about having an informal
get together this summer? One of our classmate has
lots of wide open space for us to use. If we do
this what weekend would you like it to be. This is not,
repeat not, another formal reunion. I'm not ready to
start working on another one for another 3 years.

I'd be interested in this Ana...Is there power available at the site. I was planning a music event for May that just got derailed. It was going to include other musical Essex alumni. Janice Rusotti is in a band that plays in the Burlington area and could possibly be coaxed into it. How about sometime in July?

For those who enjoy family camping, a bunch of us have been getting together for several years in a row down at Button Bay State Park in Addison County. We've had up to a dozen families for this Father's Day Weekend event. This is the only State Park I know of with a full size pool. Come down for the weekend, or just for the day and check it out!

I take it Ana, that you are waiting for input from more than just George and I on this tentative event. My summer is getting booked fast. If you have an idea on where and when you might hold such a thing please post it so we can start to drum up some interest.

I don't know if anyone else is interested George, but why don't you go ahead and post a weekend that works for you and we'll see if we can plan around that to start. It would be neat to get together and make plans for a bigger interim event at the very least and maybe even starting to plan a strategy for 2006. I still say planning an old home day on the school grounds would be worth pursuing; call me sentimental. As for this summer, the only weekend that's totally out for me is the first weekend in August. Once again George, you should consider June 14-16th since a handful of us will be getting together then already and you'd be welcome to join us.

As for everyone else, be sure to make your presence known once in a while here at the messageboard as it helps encourage us regulars to keep the communication lines open. Thanks for your support!

Tim, I'm sure you don't have to worry about people not looking at this message board. Like myself, I think classmates enjoy reading what everyone writes, especially when we hear about classmates that we haven't seen or heard from in years. I'm sure many of us don't always know what to say either. Maybe there will be more traffic when school gets out. Life tends to be a little less hectic during summer vacation. I know there are some kids of classmates who are graduating from high school soon, though I still find that hard to believe. There probably are some who are graduating from college as well. Any kids getting married?!?
Well, congratulations to all the kids graduating and to the parents!!

Things are pretty rough here at work and I think that week will be the icing on the cake. But, we'll see. It sounds like everyone usually has a great time. It's nice to see that so many classmates are pretty close, even in these busy times.
