Had to comment,been too long with no info.The area is mostly wilderness and hence protected against all vehicles,gas engines and ATV's.Tough place to work.I've seen some righteous gold,placer and hardrock,come outta there on grandfathered claims,but owners constantly harrassed.Keep it lean,detector and sluice box and get the state geo map to see where the gold really lies to much define your area of hunting.One of the most awesome places I've ever seen,never been to switzerland ,but these Alps are magnificient!!!Tons a au 2 u 2-John
