Hello Willy... Great to hear from you... Yes, this forum seems to have lost some steam.. Why, I cannot say. There were many knowledgeable posters with great information... I miss them...

MXT? I feel... from what little I know... that it is a good all around detector... including gold. I might have "missed the boat" by buying another brand... A Fisher...instead of an MXT... Jim Mc, who once posted often is very knowledgeable regarding the MXT... Actually, I know very little re: the XTerra-70.

The world is spinning faster. Or am I moving slower? No one could cause more surface damage with pick and shovel and a sluice than a spring meltwater runoff or localized rain.

I have noticed the "Centre" forum is also quiet...
