Oh if only it was as simple as money. I have gone out many times with people that sport more expensive detectors than my Gold Bug 2, and I have found more nuggets at day's end than thay have. If it was as simple as money only, then those that could afford the most expensive would find all the nuggets - but we all know that that is not so. I would be willing to purchse the GP Extreme if I was convinced it would really do more for me than the 2200 or the Infinium LS. But there is so much BS in the adds that it is hard to believe much of what they say. And the reviews make me feel like some of the reviewers are on the payrolls of the companies as well. In addition, the all say the latest versions of the detectors (the Minelabs) get more depth than the other detectors, but how much is more? .1 inch, 6 inches, a foot? So, you see, it is more difficult than just a matter of money. I do not want to make a mistake and waste money and time with a detector that will not get the job done. I am willing to put in the time and spend the money, but I want to achieve my goal - finding nuggets deeper than my Gold Bug 2 will. Thanks for your response.
