Jim,

I ordered Axeworthy's book this morning as I value your advice. I have Stannous Chloride,Nitric Acid and Hydrochloric Acid so's I could do the ol' purple spot test, but am looking forward to seeing how the professionals do it.
Would greatly appreciate a copy of the SR#50 "Plants as a guide to mineralization" if you could find the time.
The next item would be the core drill. I contacted the one company that advertises in ICMJ and there's is around $1700, so maybe I could improvise using a posthole digger somehow. Do you have any suggestions or know of someone who would want to sell their soil sampling equipment? Which reminds me Jim, did you know Evaldo L. Kothny the Geochemist? Of all the articles on Geochemistry in the many years of ICMJ, his were the best. I wonder if he's still alive, would love to contact him. That guy should of written a book on the subject for sure. Do you have any of his articles?
So you think a 2 box might be worth a go in the land of big nuggets? Man I'm ready, will try it when I go out Dec. 10th and 11th along with my 18" coil.
My email address is r.seden@sbcglobal.net
