Mils,

Now that I know what you are willing to pay for a PI, there is a new detector called a "GoldQuest SS" made by Eric Foster that is getting rave reviews from owners for depth and the ability to detect small gold nuggets. The good news for you is it's only $795!

Go to http://www.surfscanner.com and click on "Eric Foster detectors" and then click on "GoldQuest".

Eric Foster pioneered the PI metal detector in the middle to late 1960's and is very helpfull to anyone that has questions or problems.

Good luck,

Randy Seden
