Auto-trackers should never be air-tested in tracking mode, as a significant loss results from "tracking into" the target....... even at lower levels.

Even if some of this newer VLF technology allows for hunting in discriminate / silent-search mode at minimal rejection levels, it will still serve to help eliminate alot of bothersome ground signal. Time will tell.....

Interesting to note that NONE of the discriminating machines I've tried that little 1.3 grain nugget on would even signal with the nugget rubbed on the coil...... none except the MXT and the X-5.
