Subject: How do I pick a good nuggetshooter detector?

I am a greenhorn when it comes to metal detecting. I want to get a detector and try nuggetshooting. I have "GOLD FEVER" without ever finding any. What would be some good high, mid and low range detectors so far as price is concerned? I live in East Texas; no nuggets around here. Is Arizona the best and closes place for me to try? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, are there any organizations in Arizona that might let me tag along on an outing and show me how to nugget hunt? HELP!!!!!
