Subject: Coiltek 12 volt system.....

Hello All,
Over the last few months I have been using the Coiltek 12 volt (7.3 regulated) system on my SD2100 and have had no problems with it. I like the way the SD runs with this set up as it is more stable etc.

Recently two of these set ups that I know of have "cooked" and burned up the regulator itself. Both were replaced by Coiltek in a timely manner as they stand behind their products. Now with further checking around I have run across several other claims of problems related to the unit or battery and was curious if anyone out there has any comments ???

I am still using mine and do not plan to stop, but I would be interested to hear if others are experiencing troubles ?
