Thank you for enlighting me! How quickly I forgot what you told me! I'm so used to the Goler Formation that's all I could think of for the whole area. Fortunately I was able to secure a couple copies of your book "Magneficent Quest"(one for Ray Vellesquez per his request which was the last copies by the way at the General Store), and looked at the back on pages 39-47. Glad you put a specific section on that area, but whats got me confused is how could the Caliche form without the movement of water?

I kinda got the wind taken out of my sails too by planting the perverbial nickel about 6-8" down and going over it with my 15" elliptical coil and barely hearing it. But when I was up by the Dogpatch claim in the Stringer District I picked up a small tack at least 12" no problem . Will be interesting once I get a Pulse Induction machine out there with a decent size coil and trying going along the sidewalls again as well as the hardpan/caliche areas. How have you found your Minelab 2100 to work out there Jim?
