I am home to grab the lion's bright red "Trix are for kids" sleeping pants because he just can't get through another night in the hospital without them. He is again the most popular patient on the 5th floor of yet another hospital and asked me to retrieve those pants for his late night waltzes with the nurses.

On a more serious note, Laf was rushed to the ER, then admitted to the hospital after his radiation treatment Tuesday afternoon. His BP bottomed out and his WBC was at 1. I am happy to report that his numbers are much better today and that he may be discharged tomorrow after his last radiation treatment. I truly hope so, as it seems we've been living out of suitcases lately and we are sooo ready to get back to our normal insanity.

That is a wish that won't ever really happen again, I fear. Deb said something in a prior post about "the things that are really important" and I've given that a lot of thought recently. Hon, it doesn't matter if the towels don't match - or the silverware, for that matter. I would eat peanut butter and jam sandwiches on plastic plates for the rest of my life and live in a tent if I knew I could do it with you.
