Where the Hell have you been? The standard dismissal of something that makes a liberal uncomfortable as only being "right-wing rhetoric" is out of place and represents someone who has not been paying standard attention.

Even CBS and the Washington Post carried articles in which the true structure and funding of ANSWER, the sponsoring organization world wide for ALL the "anti-war" (read that as actually meaning "anti-American") protests. At least eight programs on Fox News that I can recall traced the funding and organization of ANSWER, including those right wing whackos Whore-aldo and Greta van Susteren. Even Mort Kondracke, Juan Williams, Neal Gabler and several other contributors from NPR were forced to admit the direct, undeniable linkage of the World Workers' Party and their journal of anti-US bile, the World Workers' Daily, to EVERY such organized march, including those in Germany, France, the U. K., Washington, D. C. and San Francisco.

To date, the ONLY major media outlets that have not admitted the barely disguised hand of the American Communist (World Workers') Party at the controls of these demonstrations are both CNN channels, ABC News and Pravda. Even the New York Times has reported on this, as have Newsweek and many other print publications and magazines, including Slate, the most prejudicially (by self proclamation) leftist, socialistic, liberal, anti-Republican, anti-capitalism, blame-America-first-and-only medium anywhere, though they did so somewhat reluctantly, limiting their acknowledgement of the information to a once only, brief two sentence paragraph buried within another report.

One history professor at USC - Berkeley was interviewed on several television programs recently regarding the demonstrations staged in San Francisco. He was one of its leaders and organizers. He stammered and stuttered when asked about this relationship before he was finally forced to admit that it is true. EVERY PENNY used to stage those "peaceful" protests where rocks and bottles were thrown at cops or anyone who dared disagree with them, windows were broken and vandalism ran rampant came directly from ANSWER.

The air fare and accomodations for the celebrity speakers who took part - Susan Sarandon, Ed Asner, Janeanne Garafolo, Jesse Jackson, Martin Sheen and others - was paid for with credit cards issued to the American World Workers Party on behalf of ANSWER according to the Los Angeles Times and San Francisco Herald-Examiner, neither of which is what anyone in his or her right mind would call champions of right wing causes.

Naturally, such revelations are normally buried in graph 64 of a 66 graph news report (the part continued on the obituaries page) or glossed over with dismissive wording and delivery in a live report on CBS, NBC and MSNBC. They can truthfully claim they reported it, but in reality they did so only barely, did so only once and really did so hoping that you wouldn't notice. Sadly, most people did not notice or purposefully ignored what was said.

This is such old news that most of such acknowledgements are probably all archived by now, but they are true and proved beyond any shadow of doubt. Start searching and reading. Just for the record, I have mentioned it at least three times in recent posts here and elsewhere. The ONLY challenge to the information I have ever gotten consisted of someone calling the information "right wing rhetoric." They dismissed those facts out of hand because (in their words) "... it doesn't matter where the protestors get their funding and it is not necessary for the protestors to know who organized and financed the demonstrations against American imperialism and war mongering." Not one rational, reasonable person with whom I have discussed these things has been able to disprove the truthfullness of these facts and, when they investigate for themselves, they discover that what I have said is factual.

I'm sorry, Z-dr, but the truth is that most liberals don't want to know the truth and will normally deny it when faced with documented and verifiable proof of information that makes them uncomfortable or shows their arguments to be invalid or specious. It's far easier to dismiss truth as "right wing rhetoric" or "the manipulations of the vast right wing conspiracy" than to face up to it. Some folks get so tied up in their total distrust of all elected officials that they are willing to believe anything - and everything - negative about those people and while ignoring anything positive about them or any fact that upsets their mindless applecarts of apoplectic hatred.

As I once said in the preamble to this message board, no one here needs, or ought to be required, to shoulder your personal responsibility for informing yourself of facts and truth. As I stated then, just because you failed, or did not seek, to inform yourself or you lacked the desire to do so does not make another's statement "wrong." It simply points out that you may just be less informed than they are.

The information offered and that seems to be a shock to you has been readily and widely available for months now in newspapers, on radio and television, on the Internet and in magazines. I have personally received more than 50 e-mails about this in the last couple of months. In two cases, that e-mail was from liberal groups whose newsletters I get regularly. They were attempting to defuse the information. The entirety of their response, in both cases, boiled down and distilled to..."Well, yeah, its true, but.... "

How would you "force(d) the main stream media to report it...?" Some did, though they usually only did so reluctantly and dismissively. Many equally accessible media outlets have reported it extensively and provided documentation.

How do you force people who don't want to know the facts to watch, listen, read and pay attention to things they don't wish to know or disprove their position? What do you do to force those taking part in the protests who ARE aware of the funding and organization of those protests to understand that they are not protesting war? They are, in actual point of fact, protesting the United States and its social and economic structures!

Have you yet heard one of those clowns mention anything about Hussein's brutality to his own people? About his proved and undisputed record of deceptions and obstruction of 16 UN resolutions over a 12-year period that included kicking our UN inspectors when they got too close to his deceits? About his cash awards to the families of homicide bombers? About his providing sanctuary and an operational base for hate-filled terror groups like Al Qe'ada, Abu Nidal, Al Fatah, Hezbollah, Al Aqsa and others? Have you ever heard one of them question the sale of nuclear, chemical and biological weapon-making materials and components to Hussein by France, China, Russia and Germany? Has even one of them ever publicly mentioned the French, German, Chinese and Russian scientists who are now working, or have worked in the past, in Iraq to help him build those weapons?

That's not "right wing rhetoric," my friend. Those are all legitimate questions and the answers are provable and they are totally irrefutable. NOT ONCE! NEVER! NOT A SINGLE ONE HAS EVER SAID OR ASKED THOSE THINGS!

Your distrust of elected politicians is reasonable and mostly rational but it paints with somewhat too broad as brush at times. Your distrust is limited as to its targets and very frequently leaves out many of the true dangers to us and our freedoms. There are now legions of entrenched bureaucrats in civil service jobs in Washington and elsewhere who are dedicated socialists. Their stated and acknowledged intent is to disrupt and destroy our economic and social structure and replace it with a socialistic state... that they will run! Many of those there now gained access under the auspices of Jimmuh the Geek. During Bubba's recent eight year abomination of an administration even more were added and Chinese spies were given free passes to all our most sensitive key military and defense installations. Bubba gutted and all but destroyed the CIA and our military, turning it into a social experiment, diverting defense funds from the necessities of defense to his and Billious' pet projects. Just so you know where I stand, Papa Bush wasn't a whole lot better, in my opinion. His neglect and acceptance of the idiocy of Congressional Democrats on a headlong rush to spend all the defense dollars we were now saving on pipe dream pork barrel projects and social programs lead us to a position that required us to take unnecessary months and months to retrain unqualified regular and reserve units for combat readiness.

Los Alamos, our nation's most sensitive nuclear and weapons research facility is run by USC, the home of many professors and administrators like the ones who were responsible for the recent San Francisco "peace" demonstrations that were anything but peaceful and only protested the US's claim to defend its citizens, not Hussein's or Iraq's misdeeds. They screamed unprovable invectives about our supposed desire to "steal Iraq's oil" while ignoring the already known plans of the French, Russians and Germans to acquire Iraq's oil at sweetheart, bargain basement prices.

That managing group recently fired two professional and highly respected law enforcement and security experts who had been hired to oversee security at the Los Alamos facility. The two men were fired when they told their superiors of serious security breaches and improprieties there. When those documented and provable reports went ignored or dismissed, the two men went to Congress and then finally to the press when those Congresscritters refused to do anything about the violations. The Washington Post and New York Times refused to run their stories at first, only doing so when being forced to do so because others had already published the information.

The men were only recently rehired as a result of the embarasssment of the USC Board of Regents over being found out and their perfidy publicly exposed. Again, this is information readily and widely available on the Internet, in newspapers and magazines, on broadcast and cable news reports (except CNN) and in e-mail campaigns right now.

Others here have seen, read and heard these things. Why haven't you? Could it be that you were exposed to them but did't wish to hear, see or think about them? Perhaps you had the access and tossed off the information when you encountered it.

I know that you say you are somewhat of a student of history and topical matters of importance. May I remind you that any study that is unwilling to look at all possible sides of a proposition is almost always destined to reach a false conclusion? Facts are just that... facts. They are neither "right wing" nor "left wing." They are just facts. Denial of facts that one does not like is called a self imposed delusional state.

If you, or anyone, can find a means of disproving any fact that I post here, please... I really mean it ...

I try to always base my beliefs on the facts as I know them to be to that point... and every one of them is always subject to review. Any and EVERY belief I hold that is based on incorrect facts and information is subject to immediate rejection, at the most, and immediate modification, at the least, no matter how badly that truth may make me feel. You and everyone here needs to know and understand that, when I posit questions here to elicit responses from others, I am truly desirous of knowing what others think on the subject and, unlike some I know, not just saying something to stir up a fight or argument. I am hoping that you are, at heart, much the same about what you believe... always open to discovery and challenges.
