I new Buck, he was my cousin. The last time I saw him he was home on leave, after being shot down in Nam and injuring his leg. Buck was one hell of a guy, I don't think he was scared of anything. I was about five years younger than him, and loved it when we would go up to Fort Pearce and see him and the family.
I remember seeing your wife only one time when she was just a baby. Buck was in the service then so I didn't get to see him much after that. I got to see her Uncle Jimmy, and Grandmother Beth Lee at my fathers funeral, about three years ago.
My brother has met other pilots who served with Buck, and they have told him that he was one of the best pilots they ever saw. My brother is older than me and can probably give you more information than I can.
