Her record company is probably the one who granted permission to ESPN.

I am glad for Liz that she's finally getting more main-stream recognition and hope she makes shitloads of money for her son and family! Liz fans know, nobody deserves it more than she.

Just because we early Liz fans don't need the "wall to wall" studio effect doesn't mean all her charm is lost in an attempt to continue doing what she loves.

My wife and I heard her at a 1500-person venue March 6, and she was perfect--perfect and phenomenal even before she signed autographs for 20 minutes following her encore.

I think the lyrics of the new album are every bit as imaginative, witty and unique as that of, say, Whip-Smart.

the trend of analyzing every musician or band to find out whether or not they've sold-out is a big waste of time. to me, its about the music, the lyrics and the live performances--the rest is gossip. we may never know if Liz "sold-out" or not, but who cares? what matters is if you relate to the music. if you do, listen to it; if you don't, don't--your not going to change her or anyone by complaining. good music isn't written by conforming to people's ideas of what good music is.
