The Girlysound songs originate from home recordings done by Liz before she released her first album. They were recorded on a 4-track and Liz gave out only 2 copies of the tapes, from which gazillions of dubs have been made. The sound quality is very lo-fi, but that's not really the point. As far as I'm concerned, this is Liz at her finest, with just her and her guitar and some fantastic songs.
