Subject: when did Liz become a sellout??

I happen to love Exile in Guyville and Whipsmart very much. So I don't want anyone to think I'm bashing Liz Phair because I think she's an amazing singer/songwriter/guitar player/etc.

But the new album...is very very bubble gum, sell-out, pop. When did she turn into a cheesy WNBA all star???

What do all the other fans prefer? Exile in Guyville type music and lyrics or the new Why Can't I Breath bullshit?

Is the new album worth it?

I can live with the bubble-gum if there is steak and sushi mixed in on the menu.

Does songs like "Little Digger" and "HWC" make up for the pop.

Yes. And the pop songs are nice too. There nothing as sublime and strange as a song like "Dogs of LA" on this CD, But its worth every cent.
