She has a kid. Wants to make money. What's wrong with pop? There's "Little Digger" Made me cry.

Ok, I want the word.

Is the new album worth it?

I can live with the bubble-gum if there is steak and sushi mixed in on the menu.

Does songs like "Little Digger" and "HWC" make up for the pop.

Yes. And the pop songs are nice too. There nothing as sublime and strange as a song like "Dogs of LA" on this CD, But its worth every cent.
