i'm SO disappointed in this album. i've been a fan since exile first came out and really, this is the worst thing she's ever done. and i LIKE pop music (Pink, Kylie Minogue, Madonna have all had great pop songs). But this album is just so shallow and meaningless to me. and the lyrics! her worst ever--i cringed when I heard "Favorite" and "Rock Me," with it's Xbox reference, with her yelling "young guys rule!" is probably the least interesting thing she's ever done. Sadly, there's no "Canary," "Divorce Song," "Shatter," "Shane," "Go On Ahead," "6'1", "Ride" or "Dance of the Seven Veils" on this album. I'm all for Liz having hits and getting good songs on pop radio and MTV, it's just too bad she couldn't do it without sounding like a poor imitation of Avril Lavigne.

it's not "her sound" and i can't imagine that she chose it. i always liked the way she could illuminate the edginess of everyday living. and her voice isn't something to be edited into oblivion. i found it hard to follow the lyrics because of the overall sound of the music.
