Perhaps I was a bit hasty in my glowing praise of the new record. Initially, I was just so delighted to have a new liz album that my first impressions were much more positive than they would otherwise have been.

That said, I still like the new album. It's a pop record, to be sure. It's nothing like exile or whip-smart.

But I still like it okay. It won't hold a place in the pantheon of the other two, but it's a fun record.

yeah, i've had the album for a couple of weeks now--i've been listening to it a lot and it's really not the kind of thing i want to keep coming back to. these are my favorite songs so far, though:

Firewalker
A Friend of Mine
Bionic Eyes

These are my least favorite: Extraordinary, Why Can't I?, Favorite, Rock Me

Take a Look, Red Light Fever, Love/Hate, It's Sweet, Good Love Never Dies, Hot White Cum and Little Digger are all okay..

What do the rest of you think? Favorite songs on the new album? Least favorite? I personally can't stand "Favorite" or "Rock Me" but I see the appeal of "Extraordinary and "Why Can't I?"=--the lyrics are just bad.

I hope somehow the demos leak out like the wcse ones did...

Well, I think "Hot White Cum" is the best song on the album. The fact that it gives me a hard-on every time I listen to it may or may not have anything to do with that.

I too like "Bionic Eyes." And I do like "extraordinary," even though the lyrics are kind of silly.
