Subject: The IRS - America's Gestapo!

We all know that the IRS tax code is so mind shatteringly complex (perhaps utterly illogical) that even professional tax lawyers cannot figure it out. Most, if not all people realize that since the code is so bloated and flawed, complying to it's 20,000 pages of text is not only unreasonable but virtually impossible.
The IRS however, does not seem to agree with the rest of the country. If they did, they wouldn't be committing atrocities like raiding a Learning Center near Detroit and holding the children hostage until their parents sign papers agreeing to immediately pay the balance due the Learning Center, consequently ensuring the collection of the taxes owed to the IRS.
This is just one example of the horrifyingly real power of the IRS. Another example would be the expulsion of elderly people from a nursing home in Toledo, Ohio in the middle of winter. 18 of the residents died as a direct result of the IRS seizure of the building.
Unfortunately these indefensible and yet, still technically legal acts are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to our government's insistence upon collecting taxes from within the framework of a system that has never been fair nor productive when balanced with the enormous cost of running the IRS itself.
Why then does the IRS continue to exist in it's current state? The answer is simple. POWER! Truly there is no other reason for keeping such a needlessly complex and inefficient entity around all these years. Individuals within our government understand that intimidation of the masses is the surest way for them to keep their power over it. If you are too afraid to speak out against the injustices of any government agency, you are easy pickins for the power hungry officials who run them.
I have referred to this concept as Nazism 101.
Many have called this term too extreme. 'This is America' they say, 'NOT Nazi Germany'. To these people I can only say this... Nazi Germany wasn't Nazi Germany until the Nazis came along! Furthermore, once they did, most people in that country didn't realize Nazism was such a bad idea...that is until the storm troopers starting kicking in THEIR doors.
Do you really want to wait around until the IRS has a problem with you?
Peace.
