Subject: I almost miss Clinton... ALMOST!

At least he had a personality and some wit.
I forced myself to watch the last "debate?", even though I swore to myself that I would devote that particular time slot to snaking my toilet. I gotta tell ya,
I haven't seen plastic people like this since they reintroduced the old 12" G.I. Joe doll.
Al Gore was posturing like some silver-back gorilla defending his mating grounds, while George W. mumbled and stammered through the event like a punch drunk boxer after one too many rounds. I swear, these two drips couldn't have a proper bowel movement without first consulting their spin doctors!
A greater assortment of exhausted rhetoric and feigned sympathy for working people I have not witnessed in recent years. I'd rather listen to my dog barking than these automatons. At least I generally understand what my dog is trying to communicate, and I never have to question his sincerity.
I guess I'm writing this now because I happened to be in a store today and overheard a woman explaining to her friend that she didn't understand much about the issues surrounding the debates, but thought that Gore was a nicer guy and would be less likely to cheat on his wife. She said she was going to vote Democrat based upon that assumption.
I couldn't help but speak up at that point, explaining that perhaps prostitution would be a line of work more suitable to her life style. "It seems to me that if you're that F#@%ed to begin with, you might as well get paid for it!" I speculated.
Sadly, she failed to see the merit in my suggestion.
