But the question is who decides the punishment. If you throw a grenade into a dark room, and it turns out to be full of people, we know you committed murder. You go on trial and you are rightfully put to death. In this case, since we don't know whether a fetus is alive or not, the judge is god, not man. It would be like throwing a grenade into a room that is either full of people or full of cadavers. Even looking afterwords, you don;t know whenther it is murder or not. I agree that it is irresponsible, and in my opinion wrong, for a person to get an abortion, but i am not God. If we can decide this, then why not also simply state which religion is correct. As I see it we have two options. We can devote money to finding out once and for all at what point a fetus is alive or we should work toward a realistic alternative to millions of unwanted pregnancies and back alley abortions, so that no one ever has to take their soul into their own hands. Until then, we don't have the right to make these people's choices for them, whether they are irresponsible choices or not.
