Subject: What's New?

I can't believe almost 3 months have passed and nothing worth sharing with the class has happened to such an active
dynamic group! If nothing else, we can share any new meds
we're on, their cost, the price of gasoline and how it's keeping us from going all the neat places we'd like to go,
how the grand kids are doing, -anything!
Things are kinde slow around the Holman house. Judy's mom
(88) has come to live with us now that she is unable to be by herself. She brings up the subject every day, but I think it is more to get reassurance that she is not a burden to us.
Jay and 'Chelle, our youngest kids, are in the midst of a
pregnancy. She is due in August. Things are going well
so far. If it works out, she'll be coming back to Amory
to deliver. Poppaw gets frequent calls about this and that
that concern them. Last time it was some round ligament
pain that got her on the way to school.-Nothing serious,
but alarming the first time it happens.
I ruptured a disc about 2 months ago and was in misery
until it was repaired 2 weeks ago. Surgery went fine and
I have been totally pain-free since. The only problem I had was getting the bladder to working again. I gave the
student nurses a lot of experience in catheterizations.
I have finished the baby bed for Annabelle. Made it out of
walnut. This is the 4th one I have made, and it sure turned out better than the 1st! Judy is now working on her
baby blanket. It's going to be very pretty.
Hope this hasn't been too boring, but I was getting tired of looking at a rusting message board. Hope some of you have something to share with us.
Dick
