Subject: (May 16, 2002) Question of the week

If the show were to come back for a 10th season, but only 5 'friends' agreed to come back, would you still watch it? AND, what 'friend' would be 'expendable' to you?

Me, I would still watch it if the 'friends' were old and arthritic, walking about their old-folks home with walkers and complaining about the young 'whipper-snappers' who whoop and hollar as they walk by on their way to school.

As for who I think would be 'expendable'... Phoebe. Lisa Kudrow is awesome in the role, and an awesome actress, but her character is so UNDERused. Sometimes I feel that they are just struggling to give her something to do.

As the show stands now, with the way the writing is, Phoebe seems the most expendable, but this is NOT a 'slam' to the actress, the character, or her contribution to the show.
