Irenne snapped back to ther surroundings when a gold fire lizard blinked in and settled on her shoulder, giving a little cheep and burying her head in her black hair. The Weyrwoman smiled, touching the thick pouch that she wore which containted the flit's clutch of fifteen eggs. Not a bad size, considering that Lathai'd been flown by a brown, not a bronze. She hoped that there would be enough people wanting a fire lizard, or the hatchlings would be wild--not exactly something Irenne wanted, since they'd probably be swarming all over the Weyr. At least, if they were Impressed, they could be controlled.
