Glen,

Then you must base your faith on your own finite intellect. It is clear that you depend upon the arm of flesh, rather than the arm of Jesus Christ.

Why would you appreciate what the Bible says, if the writings are unreliable?

It is funny that you think you can pick and choose which Bible verses you will accept, and which ones you will reject. After all, you are just not that important. That will also mean that your finite intellect is not that important. Please show the evidence confirming your statement that not everything in the Bible is true.

You claim, "The scriptures contain the wisdom of thousands of years of Hebrew, Greek, Roman, and 19th century American theology." Does this mean that none one word found in the three books of scripture is a revealment from God? If this is what you are saying, then this god you claim you worship is no more interested in you and I, than he is in any of his creations. If God does not reveal His will to humans, we have no idea what God wishes for us. If God does not speak to us today, how are we to know that God hasn't died? Have you seen God? Has God ever revealed Himself to humans? What is your believe, Glen? I still want to know how you know that God exists.

Cezoram
