I don't waste my faith on things that people have written. There is no magic in the written word. That doesn't mean that I don't appreciate what the Bible says, or that I don't understand what the D&C says.

>scripture, you will be spreading falsehoods." Not at all! The scriptures contain the wisdom of thousands of years of Hebrew, Greek, Roman, and 19th century American theology. Just because it is not all true does not mean that it's all false. Just because God didn't write the books doesn't make them bad books.

Have some cake. Go ahead and eat it. The whole cake will still be there when you're through.
