The reason that they are finally getting around to it is because of the uproar caused by so many at the COC board when they could do nothing about Centerplace already having the link to the scriptures online. They were adamant about it being terrible because the D&C stopped at section 144. They wanted to know why the false sections were not also included. They were insisting that those be included, yet did nothing for so long to get them online themselves. All they could do was berate the good man that had done so much work to get them online without the false sections. They would not admit that what was done was a great deal more than any of them had done. At the time, I was still allowed to participate at the board, but that was stopped. My being banned was a decision made by none other than Grant McMurray and Apostolette Linda Booth. I know this because David told me they were behind my being banned. They did not like that I was speaking out against their false doctrines so put a stop to it. When they were complaining about the man that put the scriptures online, I told them then that they had no basis to complain, that this man did more for getting the scriptures out to the people than their whole organization and if they did not like that he stopped at section 144, then to get off their butts and do it themselves. None of them did it of course. That would require some effort that none were willing to take on. I wonder what version of the Book of Mormon they will use, the 1966 probably, with all the wonderful Hebraic style removed, or maybe the Short Book of Mormon, with all references to sin and judgement removed. I am glad that they are finally getting around to it though. My only problem with it is that it could serve as a lure to get folks into the church and then having the people discover too late that they really do not believe these things after all.
