Communication is most effective, needless to say, when both channel and spirit are ready. Sometimes one is ready and the other is not. Therefore, usually to the trained "Messenger", spirit will send its cue as to the messenger becoming receptive to receive dictation.

Inside the house is always best as you have a more controlled environment there. That is to say you can pray beforehand or meditate to acclimate yourself to the higher vibrations required to bring in the messages where it would be much more difficult if not impossible to do in a car, especially if it was moving, due to distractions and attention needing to be focused on your driving, etc. Also, because the motor, radio, etc. within the car could cause undue interference in the communication, it should not be done there. Our own bodies are composed of electromagnetic energy and can thus be affected.

As to communication during a storm, there is a "gray area" there. Let us explain. While some believe the storm could also interfere with communications, there have been some people who do this work at that time but I have not, so I have no real feedback here for you, unfortunately. The more positive side of things seems to be in the belief that spirit uses electrical energy a lot and has become quite adept to it that the storm might actually enhance the experience in some way. Remember, they can turn lights on or off at will, as one example. Again, since I have not tried communication during storms I could not elaborate further on this. I much prefer quiet surroundings, undisturbed and in a tranquil, prayerful state for such communication. Others may have different ideas and success stories, however. Outside the house would again present unwanted distractions. Cars, children playing, airplanes flying overhead, wind blowing, smoke coming into your area from somewhere at times, sirens blasting, etc. does not make it conducive to or the best place for such communication in my opinion.

Yes, you are right in that spirit is very aware of Earth time but exactly how or why has not been fully revealed. What *is* known is that there is no time and space as we know it there. And when one passes over into that realm, it does not automatically give them "super powers" as such to know everything. They are still basically the same person with their own personality and Earth experiences retained but now they are with a higher vibrating body than when incarnate. That is part of the key. Since they vibrate with higher more rapid energy, they therefore vibrate in Higher Consciousness. That higher consciousness appears to give them access to more Earthly information (since they have just come from Earth) than before when they lived in a limited Earthly body. There are also other spiritual sources there who give them access to information as they are ready to accept and receive. Again, in my research to actually get at those particular sources to find out how this is done, all I received was "You will know this information at your appointed time. For now, we thank you for being a messenger with information that *can* be revealed to those incarnate who are ready to receive it." I am satisfied with that answer.

Great question, James! I am very glad you asked that! Spirit can see each other in much the way we can, since their range of vision is now much more enhanced (as is their perception) in their new spirit body. They do retain the basic outline of their Earthly body but do not retain their full physical body as they do not need it there nor could it exist in that realm. Since they are unimpeded by Earth physics (which I am sure you can understand being a man of science), they do not need the "extra weight" of a pair of Earth eyes when they can use their mental perception for this. They can also identify themselves by their aura which is most colorful according to groups, as you mentioned! Those who vibrate to a certain group, generally vibrate using pertinent colors identifiable as being "one of the same kind". On a much smaller scale, this is somewhat the way we on Earth can identify say a person of wealth from one who is destitute. The main point being that there are very obvious differences.

When one spirit approaches another, their auric colors extend beyond and into the auric umbrella of the other. They can instantly recognize one another that way. It has much to do with perception of congruent vibrations. On a smaller scale, I'm sure you or someone you've known has entered into a public place and suddenly you have sensed the energy of someone you instinctively do not like. You don't know why you don't but nevertheless you feel something that somehow repels you that is emanating from them. You are sensing their strong auric influence and therefore take appropriate action such as going to another part of the room or out of it entirely. Spirit goes beyond that and uses their vibratory information which is in the form of a "key signature" for each one and each group. They are thus able to identify one another that way. However, they are not limited to that way alone. For instance, when one of their relatives has made their transition, they can lower their vibratory field and revert into a form similar to the way they appeared on Earth. This is purely for the benefit of the person who has passed on who is still, for the most part, in a state of confusion as to what is going on. They will thus feel much more comfortable actually seeing their loved one or relative as they remember them on Earth than if they appeared with their auric properties which would be much harder for them to identify at this point and would serve to further confuse and even perhaps scare them unnecessarily in their somewhat fragile new state.

After they have been there for some time, they too begin to acclimate themselves to their new life and the properties of that life so as to be able to "When in Rome, do as the Romans do" or become one of them in spirit doing as others do. But that is generally not done right after immediate transition. You have to remember that the spirit of a newly deceased person lingers on Earth for about forty days after transition. They are in this "inbetween state" of being though most are conscious that they are no longer incarnate. [That is also why it is said to consider not burying someone who has recently passed away before waiting say at least a week or so. That gives the lingering soul some "space" to be close to their Earthly body, as they still know it, during this critical phase of life "change over" before it has to go into the burial phase and thus underground cutting off access.]
