Subject: Banana Bread

Banana Bread

3 large ripe bananas
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
4 tablespoons butter (melted and cooled)
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts or both

Mix all together and set aside.

1-1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Mix together, add to above mixture and pour into a 9 by 5 loaf pan, lightly greased.

Topping:

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans or both
1/2 cup brown sugar

Mix together and sprinkle over loaf.
Bake 325 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. She said sometimes it takes longer. Press down on top of loaf; it's done when no longer "soft"
