Lazar eyes roll in his head... "It appears quite simple. It seems to be a journal, perhaps a glimpse, of his travels. Beginning with the his flight from his people, for whatever reason, and a trek through a desert or plains nearly dieing while there. It seems his earlier reference to 'Lathander' would indicate the sun picture. What it exactly means, I can only guess. The drawing of the short figure seems to be right with what Simon said... a dwarf. I also point out that most other races are already shorter than him, so it could be various races. The staff and skull seems clear enough... the Staff of the Dead. The drawings of the multiple figures... it could be any number of things, but if one were to look close enough," and Lazar peers at the rocks... "It would seem to be our group here." He points to a grouping of figures drawn close together. "The others, I am unsure. Perhaps other people or players in this game of power. The dwarven king did say there were others seaching for the staff. Maybe our 'friend' here has seen them or followed them too." Lazar nearly spits out the word friend.

"I recommend caution with this beast. We do not know his true intentions and he did bring the 'face thing' to you." Lazar looks to Corwen, Cadeirin and Simon. "As we have no spells to interrogate him nor prove his intent, perhaps other methods would be in order here." Lazar seems to grin through his stone cold face he is presenting to 'Rong'. "I, for one, do not wish to perish in my sleep when he comes to slit my throat and 'collect' my belongings in his little bag." He begins to walk away...

"Or... perhaps there are clues to be had inside this sack of his. It may be prudent to check." Lazar lowers his voice to a whisper... "And I claim first dibs on anything valuable." He turns around and walks confidently towards the bag. Stopping just before it, he turns to the group... "What say you, fellows?"
