  Lazar heads south, cutting through the busy market place with ease. He laughs at the thought people consider this busy and remembers fondly of Calimport's busy markets, 20x's this full and busy. He crosses the Moonbridge under the watchful eye of the gurad and heads for the building housing the new college. Upon entering, he sees all manner of wizards and apprentices, scrambling about.   Corwen also notices Simon laying near the reflecting pool of water in the center of the grove. Many elven children crawl across his back and slide down the other side. A brown-robed man stands before him, talking to Simon with an expression of happiness across his face.

• "A NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN" Gonoc and Reom with Rong in the tavern. -- DM, 21:57:20 08/30/00 Wed
  The crowd ROARS with appreciation at the "Ales for everyone" statement made by Reom. He and Gonoc down their first ales and ready themselves for the next when Rong comes up. The barkeep slams down 3 large mugs and the friends clank them together. Rong watches as the dwarves drink it down, then follows suit, chugging all the way. He lets out a loud belch and smiles to the dwarves. Cadeirin, having escorted Rong here, looks to all the people inside, many playing games of chance, most drinking, and all talking. He sees Rong is in no danger, especially with Reom and Gonoc here, plus being in Silverymoon, and backs away from the bar, back outside.

  "Now that we have saved Rong from himself and the little terrors, we need to divide up this treasure. I will take the wand and dagger as they suit me best, as you all know. The rest you all can fight over. This will be more than enough payment to me from all you because of your failures in protecting the mage. So many happy blades and no one thinks to protect the mage... hmmph! I will also help myself to the gems, as they are lighter for me than regular coins. I'm sure no of you object, right? Fine then..." Lazar reaches for the items and begins pocketing them. Every now and then he looks to each of you to see what you will take. "If there is something you all don't want, feel free to send it my way. The rings do look nice." He grins with the half smirk he always seems to wear.

  "I can't believe the nerve of some people..." mumbles Lazar seemingly to himself. "'We should be his friend' he says. 'We don't need to kill everything' he says. HHMMPH. I say we drop this one-eyed freak off at the next dragon's lair we find!" This Lazar seems to make a bit too loudly. He sourly continues to wipe mud off he's robes, even though it merely smears. "I say we leave 'ol Rong here where he belongs... with the little people... and get ourselves outta here. Now!" Lazar begins walking to the southern exit of the cavern and grabs the rope. He turns to face the group, "You are coming aren't you?"

  As he sits and makes himself comfortable, he opens his bag once again reaching inside for something. He pulls out a chain of gold attached to a disk of multiple hues; pink, purple, orange, yellow, and red. He places the disk around his neck and seems to be at ease now. "Rong do-Da. Lathander. Rong." • The sound of heavy breathing... -- DM (Marz), 03:39:08 07/30/00 Sun
  fills the air coming out from the woodline, away from the road. It seems to be coming from the southeast... from Sundabar's direction! The sound becomes increasingly nearer and now the sounds of crackling twigs and underbrush being pushed aside can be heard. A figure, a bit taller than 7', and half as wide, steps boldly into the camp-fire light. It is the Oneeye. He seems to have followed you but you can't seem to figure how, as the centaur led and the ranger covered the tracks. The cyclops squints its orb at such a bright fire and gazes around at the group. He focuses on the pheonix tatooed to Simon's chest and looks into Simon's face. "Gaura Gunda?" He, once again, displays the bag he carried before, and holds it toward you... "Gaura Gunda?"

• Campsite Conversations -- Simon, 15:01:54 07/26/00 Wed
  The night slowly begins to pass by. A cold breeze blows through the air now. A snake can be heard hissing in the fields. Crickets can be heard chirping in the night. A very small cloud passes the moon for a short time to dimming what little light the group has.
  
  Shortly after the light appears back to it's brightest, Simon walks away from the ranger and druid, approaching the other side of camp. A sad look is upon his face for a short time, then little of any expression is seen. He sits next to Lazar and Gonoc, who are vigorously trying to open the chest. He looks at the two and says, "Wonderful night, is it not? Still trying to open the chest I see." He gives a faint smile then looks over at the battlerager and says, "So, what is it you do back in Brukabar? And what brings you on this quest of ours?" He then looks over at the oriental and just smiles.
  
  While awaiting Reoms reply, he glances over to the two on the other side of the campsite. He shakes his head once more and turns his attention to the sky above.

• The Journey -- Simon, 17:14:38 07/21/00 Fri
  The night sky is clear, and the moon is nearly full. The light given from the moon is just enough so the weary travelers do not need a torch. This being good since they do not want unwanted creatures to spot a flame off in the distance, and come looking to see what it is.
  
  As the group travels through the rocky plains towards their final destination, Silverymoon, Simon watches the sky, weary of the flying beast the group encountered earlier this night. Taking the lead of the group, Simon is able to mark a better trail due to his skilled training as a guide.
  
  After a few hours of travel, Simon says, "Hold up for a moment. We shall rest here. The horses need a break." Pulling a few stones in a small circle, Simon goes about setting up a rest stop for everyone to sit if needed.
  
  After completing setting up the camp, he walks over to Cadeirin and says, "Well done back there in town. We saved many people, and if we find this staff we will save thousands more." He gives a large smile. "So, tell me of yourself. My tribal elder knew of you and Corwen. He said you are looking for the staff as well. For what purpose do you look for it? To destroy it or bring it back?" He sits patiently, waiting Cadeirins answer, occasionally looking at the others in the group.
  
  As he listens to Cadeirin, Simon waves Corwen over as well. He pats the forest dweller on the back, "You did well also." Smiling he continues, "My mother knew of your druid of rank. She was as well one of the nine." He looks down for a moment with a sad look upon his face. Looking up again, he continues, "So, Cadeirin has told me his story. What is yours? What brings you to the group of travelers?" Still having a down look upon his face, he waits Corwens answer as well.

• City Gate -- Simon, 18:22:52 07/14/00 Fri
  As the fleeing centaur approaches the rest of the group, with a petrified look upon his face, he screams, "The face! Make it stop! Stop the face!" He runs past the people around the gatehouse and flees into the city. He doesn't stop until he is near the center of town. There he finds an empty alley and huddles behind an empty crate. He continues to chant, "Make it stop, make it stop." while humming a little, holding his fingers to his ears.
  
  After several minutes, he slowly begins to calm down. Looking around, he tries to figure out his surroundings. He then gets more fear in his eyes, "No, they mustn't go into the woods!" He begins to run back to the gate house, hoping he isn't too late. "It will mean their deaths!"
