the local authorities in a timely manor. The only people making an issue of this are the major news organizations because local news broke the story first. Big freaking deal, it is a non-story anyway. The sheriff’s office was informed and the proper reports filed. Hunting accidents happen and Chenney's only offence was not having the proper bird-hunting stamp (I heard he has since sent a check in the amount of $7 to pay for the stamp). I would be upset if he received special treatment in that regard and a fine was waived.

The only reason this story has legs is due to the fact it is attached to the VP. This is just another example of media idiocy and idiots buying into another in a long series of NON-STORIES.
