Great game Jimmy, condolences to the Beast.. they were awesome all year. And hooray for the kitties, team effort paid off -

QB Ccraig Strickland - #2 overall in Passer Rating, a big-time come back for him from some poor showings the last couple seasons. FIFL Bowl MVP.
HB Rickey Blake - #3 in rushing and missed 2(3?) games with injuries. Ranked 3rd in Scoring Offense, and All-purpose yards and 29th in Receptions. FIFL Bowl Offensive MVP.
WR Corps - nothing dominant but some good solid performances and clutch plays despite rotating due to injuries.. Meier looked good in limited time.
OL - 2nd in sacks allowed to only LBB and teams 2,055 combined rushing yards speaks for itself.
DL - Tied for league lead in sacks with 65, DE Kevin Haynes tied for #1 with 14
LB - An odd group to say the least, against the grain of the FIFL prototype as pointed out by LBB manager Jimmy Hanlon before the big game. Produced Defensive MVP Jeff Main, had 20 of the teams sacks and 2 of the teams 3 INTs.
DB - Considered something of a weakness to the team but played well considering the competition.. alot of tackles and alot of injuries.. loss of 3 to retirement will hurt. Sanders/Hammond form solid core.
Special Teams - K Proctor was himself, on again off again with moemtns of brilliance. P Baker had 7 less punts than the nearest opposing team but still came in dead last in both gross and net avg. could be a problem if he doesn;t return to his earlier form. Pr team showed promise, KR team needs work ranking last in the league overall.

Overall we are proud of our boys and happy to be champs.. hope to compete again for a time to come.
