Never say never... a short time later Louisiana completed its makeover in yet another deal with GM Miguel of Dayton. He took time out from a much deserved holiday to get this done. Veterans QB Joshua Wallaork and WR Anthony Payton move to Dayton. Louisiana picked up OL John Verdegan to start at OT1 and Sam Maverick to team with up and comer Tony Plantin at OG. "We hated to break up the young tandem, but we needed to upgrade overall to compete this season" lamented GM Hanlon. "We really needed to get better defensively. We feel the addition of Art Malupe and Julian Hembrick gives us better pressure from the DL position. We now have a very competitive corps at LB. Hopefully, we cured the massive leak in our defense. We HAVE to keep opposing teams off the scoreboard. My Thanks to GMs Mike of Mobile and Miguel of Dayton... and a note to the GM in St Louis: THIS could of been YOU here. We are less likely to deal in the future with any GM that won't even return a phone call. See y'all on the field Thursday."
