I disagree completely.

Last year the league was spoiled by having WAY too many good rookies.

Last season (2003) there were 128 rookies that were on teams rosters. This year (2004), it is 71. 128 is alot of rookies out of 954 players being in the league (53 players x 18 teaams = 954).

True, there aren't as many huge superstars, but if there were, then basically every 3 years, players like Jerry Rice would be dropped down to WR4 and the next Jerry Rice would be taking over.

Expect drafts like this in the future from time to time.

Joe - you are one to talk. Last year you had 4 rookies, this year ZERO. ;)

Last year, Fargo and Steel Valley went crazy as Fargo had 15 players and Steel Valley 19. This year, Fargo is at 2 and Steel Valley at 6.

As I said, and as you know, I am monitoring the league talent pool all the time. There are alot of players in their 7th season and it is around then they start thinking about retiring. If ever there is a lag in talent, the next seasons draft will be made to remedy this.

>Geez, did this year's draft class come up short or
