Subject: Jimmy's Cardiac Kids Pull out ANOTHER ONE!

dateline Baton Rouge... "Damned if I know why we do things the way we do" Owner/GM Jimmy Hanlon rambled on at a local luncheon press conference. "The 2002 plan was to get the running game going and chew the clock so our defense could keep up. The defense has been just fine, but the passing game just keeps getting better...like in outa control better.. go figure... somehow wheels just 'wills' it, and it gets done. Did y'all see the downfield blocking when he took off late in the 4th Q? ... he was a traffic cop directing traffic! Somehow, we just keep finding a way to win. I expect no less this week. We kept Benning in check in week 2, and we expect more of that type of D vs Smith this week." "Any reponse to the recent trade?" plied a local sports talk host. "T stands for team. We now employ the 3rd and 4th most productive WRs in FIFL history... and we upgraded at our most needy postion: C1... granted there will be a degree of difficulty while players adjust to new positions... but these are veterans hungry for a ring... none of these guys have even sniffed a title... is it worth all our draft picks next season? Only time will tell. The reponse from the players is very positive. We've rolled the dice... I'm confident we rolled a 7. If it's snake eyes, we still got next season... after that, who knows? See y'all on the field next week."
