Thank you, Ian. It does feel good. If nothing else, I hope I have offered hope to all teams in this league. I've always felt that it should take any team no more than 3 seasons to contend for a title. I was able to wrangle a series of trades over 2 seasons that enabled me to achieve my goals. I assessed this teams' needs and acted accordingly. My predasessor deserves credit: he had more than a clue on how to build a winner. TO WHIT: 29 of HIS players were on the active roster for this championship game. I would NOT recommend my course of action to the championship to all... I have gone down this path B4 and experienced ignominious defeat. Image what anyone rating my draft this season would say if I'd NOT won... I've experienced that. I'm confident that all teams are close enough in talent that any "equalizer" the league enforces will have a neglidgeable effect on any teams chances next season. Some may feel penalized or dissappointed in the outcome. I feel it's the only prudent course to keep this league in line with its' initial vision... and that has to be our steady course for all to compete fairly. Good luck to all in the upcoming season... and REMEMBER... Training Camp should be 1st and foremost on managements' minds! YES, ESPECIALLY B4 the draft!
