It was a sparsely but tastefully decorated place - it was not quite obvious that a young bachelor lived here - it seemed almost more the home of an older, single businessman who was well traveled and well versed in the world - a couple of pieces of fine artwork were displayed in the dark-hued living room.

She was actually so excited about tonight - which was a complete turnaround from where her thoughts on Christmas had been just a couple days ago. So thankful that she had run into him that night, she was now determined to make the most of their quaint Christmas evening. Arms full of bags of stuff - food, clothes, presents - she banged on the door with her toes, just hoping that he would be home from work by now. There was cooking to do, and decorations to put up and good times to be had by all! A bright smile lighting her lips as she thought over all the fun holiday things that they could do, she waited patiently for him to answer the door. Because it was just an evening in, she had dressed pretty casual, but still nicely - because it was Christmas afterall. An off-white fuzzy v-necked sweater fit to her torso and chocolate cords to her hips, blonde hair pulled softly back from her lightly made-up features - she was feeling completely ready for the night with him...

If he was correct in assuming that she was on her couch, the tiny dog in his arms would definitely surprise her.. surprise was the key element here..

she was huddled on the couch with a blanket wrapped around her, trying to concentrate on one of these american movies the tv was showing but she couldn't understand them very well, and she wasn't trying, she was too depressed to care

she was avoiding him the best she could, he was such an odious man it irritated her to death, he could at least be pleasant once in a while but of course not, that would break that horrible face he loved to make at her when she did something he didn't like.....which was all the time. As of now she was curled up on the sofa with her italian greyhound Victorio in her lap, the seal colored animal shared her opinion of Officer Young..he showed his disaporval by biting however...made for an interesting display
