Dr. Richard Gumbleton Daunt , of Kilcascan was my great great grand father on my mother's side . He was a doctor with a degree in Edinburgh in 1841 , he came to Brazil , where he distinguished as a city counselor for the town of Campinas , as well as doing social services for the poor . He married Anna Francelina de Camargo , daughter of a very proeminent farmer. My great grandmother is Winifred their sixth daughter , who married Jose de Salles Leme , a big farmer and landowner . My grandmother is Dulce , their fourth daughter , who married Luis Vicente de Azevedo , son of the Governor of the state of Sao Paulo . My Mother is also called Dulce , and is their third daughter , she married Decio Franco de Almeida , also a farmer , in the state of Mato Grosso , where he was a pioneer , opening roads and settling farms in the jungle . I am their only son , Jose Vicente de Azevedo Franco de Almeida , have a master degree in business administration at Fundação Getulio Vargas , São Paulo , and have an Antiques Shop : http://planeta.terra.com.br/arte/townhouse I am at your disposal for any further information . Thank you for your interest and research of the Daunt family . Sincerely , Joe Franco [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
