Subject: My daughter wants the computer

I told her if she picked up the mess she and her brother made in the kitchen, I'd let her have it. She's out there scurrying around now, so I may not be around for a while. She is hooked on the Sims games and of course it had to be something that take forever to play.

It simulates real family situations. They have a budget with which to build, furnish and decorate a home. They have jobs, kids, housework, parties, etc. Several families can be living out their lives at once. It gets very detailed. They have conversations, fight, play music, cook, use the john, shower, dress and all in a PG format, of course. It can be interesting and educational. It's kind of like a complex version of playing house on the computer and at a level that teens and adults would enjoy.

Well I'll look for you later tonight, if I ever get a chance at the computer again. Bye
