Good evening friend, how has your day been.

I didn't even embarrass myself by posting in the gardening thread. I used to help my parents and grandparents with the garden every year when I was a kid. Two of my brothers were avid gardeners, but have become too busy for it in recent years. I planted twice in my early twenties when I was playing grown-up. I didn't do anything special with the soil, didn't fertilize, barely watered, and hardly ever howed; but the cudded thing still grew more stuff than I had the inclination to pick or could eat or give away. The only advice I could give to anyone is - neglect it and it will grow! Carrots, onions and potatoes all grow below ground and I thought were easy, but then I just tossed everything out there and let it do whatever it was going to do. We must have good soil around this area. I had a rhubarb patch that it took me years to kill off.
