But I didn't want to believe that for the sake of a few dollars profit these major stores would risk our health. How naive, right?

I have always preferred Kroger for my meat, feeling it was fresher and tastier, now I may have to rethink that. ONe store where I have consistently had trouble with the mat spoiling faster is Walmart Superstores. I tried to talk to the manager about the problem, but he ignored me. We eat much less meat now than we did a few years ago.
