She is definitely a user and I have experienced it, not just guessing. Took her to the food bank yesterday as one of the places. Then after home again, had another errand to run. And she gave me $3.50 for gas. Likely cost me $7-8 in gas. And I figured oh heck, I could get some food too. Welll, I watched how she worked that one over. Took things that she shouldn't have, wanted what I had (and gave her some) and gave her what I couldn't use when we got home. And she offered nothing in trade and ended up with my meat as well and never brought it back over saying she got it by accident.

It was just an interesting experience. And she is around my age I suppose. Her kids are older than mine. She is one that won't be working. On SSI and TANF. We talked about it yesterday. Still. I utilize the system to the fullest, but not manipulative with it. Just a difference. I want out, she wants to stay and use.

So I figure...she could easily have planned to get quarters yesterday in all the time we were out. And I offered to sell her $5 of mine. I took her boyfriend to cash a check yesterday...the second errand. So certainly could have thought ahead. I didn't feel like waking the boys to accomodate her today. I will go out of my way...did yesterday and another time...but that isn't much of an emergency and they CAN take the bus. They just didn't want to, nor walk 6 blocks to the store. I know...I am sooo mean. :)
