Ciel, feeling the pain from her wounds once again, couldn't move no matter how hard she tried. Each try was more painful than the first. As the attack coming closer Ciel became more scared every second. Ciel shut her eyes tightly. Just when she thought she would be hit she wasn't. Ciel looked up to see her Space Sword absorbing the attack and without on command. Ciel watched as it absorbed everything, thinking, 'What's happening? I didn't tell it to do anything and mom has no more control over it. So what's going on?' The sword was glowing brightly than ever from the powerful attack it had absorbed. The sword swung back the red jewel beginning to glow brighter than the blade or the other jewels like it was angry. Then the sword swung foward like a bat hitting a baseball and the power reversed against Aquarius. The Space Sword made a huge humming sound as the red jewel was flashing at the humming's beat like it was telling Aquarius, "You leave my master alone!" The sword floated to Ciel as she held it in carefully it was warm and the two tiny gold jewels were blinking to the beat of a soft humming. Haruka came over and it seemed she was listening to the Space Sword. Finally Haruka put a hand on Ciel's shoulder with a smile and said, "It says it's a little tired and would like to be put away now." Ciel looked at her mother curiously. Seeing this Haruka said, "Yes, the sword is alive as are all the talismans and the talismans are our friends and will always protect us in time of need. Kind of like our own little Luna, Artemis, or Diana. Except these help us when there is no way out." Ciel smiled at the thought of having a friend because deep, deep inside she was worried if Arietta let alone the others would even want to hang out with a girl who can't keep control of her powers. She softly kissed the swords blade and then held it out and the sword disappeared.
