Subject: 2012 BOD DEADPOOL!

Alright douches, you know the drill here.

Pick 10 celebrities (if they have a Wikipedia page, they count) who you think will die before the end of 2011. You get to name one celebrity as your Franchise pick. When you franchise someone, no one else can pick that person. If someone has already picked a person, you cannot franchise them. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BITCHES.

Points are scored as followed:
Age 0-30: 6 points
Age 31-50: 5 points
Age 51-70: 4 points
Age 71+: 3 points
Preexisting Condition: -2 points from age

Preexisting conditions MUST be a health condition that threatens the person's life in the coming year. Magic Johnson may have AIDS, but the fact is he's been living with it for over a decade and he's in good health. So that would NOT be a preexisting condition. The same for Stephen Hawking and his ALS, Lance Armstrong and his cancer, or Jack Black and his crippling lack of talent.

However, if there's something NEW that arises as a complication of those conditions before the time period for calling preexisting conditions in closed, then it DOES count. Say Stephen Hawking contracts pneumonia in a week. Or Lance Armstrong's cancer comes back. Those count as preexisting conditions.

Conditions that arise after the selection period is closed do NOT count for preexisting conditions. So if you select Bob Barker and in June we learn he has terminal cancer, that's just good luck (for you. Not for Bob Barker).

Preexisting conditions must be called. There'll be one week from the close of selections to call preexisting conditions. If a condition isn't called, it's not being counted.

A NOTE ON DRUG USE: Drug use is easy to call as a preexisting condition, but it seriously has to be hardcore, drugging yourself to death style drug use. Everyone jokes about Keith Richards and his drug use, but even though he looks like a decayed corpse, there's no real indication he's still shooting heroin into his eyeballs every day. You need solid, hard evidence that a celebrity is abusing massive amounts of drugs for it to count. Charlie Sheen is a good example of what counts as someone who people are like "Yeah, that dude's gonna coke himself to death."

If someone you pick dies, you get to replace them on your list. If your franchise pick dies, the person you select is designated a franchise pick, so no one else can select them.

SELECTIONS CLOSE FEBRUARY 1ST! PICK NOW AND PICK EARLY!

Also, let me know if you guys still want to do the Lifepool. Pathetically few of the people on our Lifepool lists actually died, so I'm thinking it doesn't have much point.
