I don't understand--are you simply sick of talking about her *here,* or do you believe that the constant baiting and mockery is wrong? If it's the latter, then the shrine should go down, because, as you said, it's a great way to introduce new people to LQ's most mockable qualities. Whether or not you have her permission isn't the point; the point is that the reasons for the shrine are basically the same things that some people seem to be decrying of late, chiefly, taunting LQ and dwelling on things she's done in the past. Her fics and rants as posted on the shrine are all from the past. If you think we shouldn't be dwelling on this stuff, then the shrine needs to go.

Now, if LQ *wants* the shrine to stay up, then, okay, keep it up. I don't know why she'd want it up, but if that's what she wants, then it's her funeral. Please note, though, that to my mind, permission to archive her stories is different from her expressed desire to have the site remain up.

If you simply don't want people to talk about the LQ situation on this board, and if the mods agree (sorry, I can't remember who they are here), then they would be perfectly within their rights to delete all such messages or threads.
